Annika Sorenstam Pregnant with First Child

Golf star Annika Sorenstam has announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Mike McGee.

“Mike and I are very pleased to announced that we [are] expecting out first child. We have had a lot of exciting changes in the past few months, and adding a new addition to our family later this fall will certainly be at the top of that list,” Sorenstam said on her blog.

Sorenstam and McGee were married in January.

The 38-year-old golf star announced her retirement in May 2008. She has won 72 LPGA’s and was inducted into the Golf World Hall of Fame in 2003.
